Carter Express is pleased to announce an expanded partnership with the Lear Corporation, a global leader in automotive distribution. We are proud to partner with a company like Lear that lists quality, innovation, and teamwork as some of their core values.
Lear is a manufacturer and distributer of automotive seating and electrical systems. A great number of Lear’s auto parts are transported out of Mexico which gave Carter Laredo the opportunity to open its doors for more business. Due to this growing partnership, Carter has hired 12 clerks and 10 forklift drivers to cover all shifts.
The Lear operation consists of over 4,000 skids and roughly 90 OB routes per week, and Carter Express Laredo has provided close to 30,000 sq. ft. and 28 doors to cross-dock Lear freight.
Carter Express’ Laredo location expanded its operation from just our Milkrun freight to an additional 43,260,609 lbs. of freight year-to-date.
